Position Summary
The Department of Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business is inviting applications for a positions as Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance.
Applications will be considered from scholarly active individuals who are qualified as Scholarly Academics (SA) based on the College’s faculty qualifications standards.
Candidates with demonstrated academic and scholarship qualifications to teach in multiple Finance sub-disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications


Minimum Required Education
  • Earned Ph.D. or DBA from an AACSB­-accredited institution in Finance or in other closely related business fields with documented scholarship in Finance.
  • ABD’s who are at the final stages of their doctoral dissertation will, likewise, be considered.

None.
Qualifications
  • Must have qualifications and interest to teach in graduate programs (MBA/PhD).
  • Must have qualifications and interest in serving as a member of the Ph.D. dissertations committee.
Skills and Abilities
Exhibiting dynamic communication skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teaching in finance discipline both in undergraduate and graduate program (course assignments may be during the day or evening and may include off-campus locations and online education).
  • Teaching a full course load.
  • Demonstrating a continuous commitment to teaching excellence.
  • Providing academic advising.
  • Engaging in continuous appropriate research that produces high-quality scholarly journal publications to maintain Scholarly Academic qualifications.
  • Serving on Ph.D. dissertation committees.
  • Contributing to curriculum development.
  • Actively supporting the Department and College; and participating in university and community service through participation on College and University committees.
  • Providing support to the professional academic community.
  • Exhibiting dynamic communication skills.
  • Maintaining the ability and desire to work in a student-centered environment.
  • Assuming other instructional and service-related duties as assigned.
