The Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting in the George Dean Johnson, Jr., College of Business and Economics invites qualified candidates to submit applications for Assistant or Associate Professor of Business Analytics. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position with a start date of August 16, 2024. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate economics courses and graduate analytics courses.
Faculty position to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.

The Johnson College is located in a state-of-the-art 60,000 sq. ft. facility in downtown Spartanburg. Required Education and Experience
Ph.D. in Economics or related field is required by the start date of the appointment. ABD candidates with a planned completion date no later than August 15, 2024, are welcome to apply.
To qualify for the rank of Associate Professor, candidates must meet the requirements for Assistant Professor, have at least five years of relevant post-doctoral experience by the start date of the appointment, a record of excellence in teaching, scholarship and service that meets the College’s criteria for promotion, and have at least three publications in indexed journals within the last five years (https://www.uscupstate.edu/globalassets/facultystaff/faculty-governance/faculty-governance-committees/promotion-and-tenure/jcbe-unit-criteria-rev-july2-2018.pdf ).
