Position Summary
The Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development (FALD) exists to support the development of our faculty members and to provide resources to assure their academic success. As an institution, we strive to promote a diverse, respectful environment where our colleagues can excel in the interrelated areas of patient care, education, and research. To this end, our Office oversees programs and activities directed at all ranks of faculty. 
We are seeking a mission-driven individual with exceptional program management skills to join the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development (FALD) as the Assistant Director. This position will support the delivery of faculty development programs to medical faculty in Chapel Hill and across the state, implement faculty affairs processes, support the evaluation of the effectiveness in achieving intended outcomes, and support continuous process improvements. The Assistant Director will role model the mission and values of FALD and contribute to an exceptional team and culture.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent); for candidates demonstrating comparable independent educational or instructional activities related to consulting or developing course content, curriculum, instructional technique/technology, distance education design, development or implementation, will accept a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience in substitution.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Ability to design valid questionnaires, data collection instruments, and conduct and report results of simple statistical analyses.
