Summary of Duties:

The Assistant Director will provide direct service to students with disabilities, supervise the accommodations team, assist with the operations of the Access Center, and supervise the front desk.


Required Qualifications:

Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional work experience in a disability office.

  • Supervision of full-time staff.

Once training is complete, this position may be eligible for a hybrid telework agreement.  All telework agreements are assessed and extended on a semester basis.

Monthly Salary:

$4,061 - $5,585

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
