Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | The Office of Access, Civil Rights and Community Engagement is seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Education & Strategic Initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Inclusive Excellence Education, the Assistant Director of Education & Strategic Initiatives handles educational and operational needs. This role involves developing and executing educational programs, activities, and experiences that foster access, inclusion, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. Moreover, the Assistant Director contributes to the planning, design, coordination, execution, and facilitation of various university events and programs. These include seminars, campus talks, symposiums, conferences, and leadership workshops tailored for faculty, staff, and students. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree in education, counseling, communications, or related field. Prior teaching experience in a higher education setting. |
