Assistant Director of Business Operations
Campus Recreation
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Assistant Director of Business Operations has primary responsibility for preparing and monitoring all financial processes for the Department of Campus Recreation. The Assistant Director is responsible for the oversight of weekly reconciliation of revenue and has budgetary responsibility for the department. This position designs and produces reports for administrative decision-making and performs statistical analysis on financial performance and activities. The Assistant Director conducts audits of weekly deposits, all departmental budgets, and membership categories. This position assists the Associate Director of Business Operations with expense approvals and departmental budgeting. This position also supervises and directs the Budget & Administrative Coordinator and the Membership Coordinator.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Ability to work within complex member management systems.
• Ability to manage financial processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of populations.
• Ability to analyze membership and financial trends.
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
OR
• High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working for a college or university.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 25.
