Position Summary Information
Primary Purpose | Under general direction from the Director of Athletic Performance, the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance is responsible for teaching and instructing student-athletes how to perform in their sport, including sport-specific weight training, conditioning, skills, and safety practices. |

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work performed primarily in the gymnasium or clinical environment. Outdoor and indoor work will be necessary on a regular basis. A non-traditional work week, hours, and days will be required to fulfill department needs. Expected to work weekdays, and weekends and may include holidays. Some travel required to attend conferences, offsite events. Valid driver’s license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University’s fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record. |
Hiring Range | $66,560.00 - $90,960.00 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
