Job Purpose
Provides academic and bar exam support to law students and graduates. Assists in educating law students for lives of leadership and service for the common good.
The budgeted annual salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is between $80,461 – $87,560 annually. The internal full salary range is $80,461 – $108,859.

Function Details
Provide one-on-one and small group bar-exam coaching to law students. ​Develop and teach workshops and bar-exam skills courses. Assist with the creation, coordination, and delivery of bar preparation initiatives. Oversee and manage data entry and processing for bar exam data. Program assessment to determine efficacy of bar-exam programs. Research current trends and developments in the uniform bar exam.

​Collaborate to design, coordinate and deliver academic support programming. Provide one on-one and small group academic support to law students. Train, supervise, and guide student peer-mentors. Data and program management to enhance program effectiveness and increase program retention.

​Active or inactive bar membership in good standing in a state bar.​
Knowledge Required Early career, knowledge may be from education and/or some experience

Minimum Qualifications
​Passage of a bar exam and admission to a state bar in the United States.​
Desired Qualifications
At least one year of law teaching experience, preferably in a bar preparation or
academic support program (as faculty, staff, and/or as peer educator).
Experience in higher education.
Experience with assessment and with data collection preferred.
Experience teaching, using interpersonal and counseling skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers.
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical / Environmental Qualifications
Remain in a stationary position 70% of the time
