The College of Law’s Admissions Office is hiring for the position of Assistant Director.  This is a full-time staff position reporting to the Assistant Dean for Law Admissions.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Advise prospective and admitted students about the law school's programs, curriculum, enrollment statistics, and outcomes. Review applications for decision. Recommend candidates for scholarship consideration.
  • Develop an annual recruitment calendar. Coordinate all off-campus recruitment events including scheduling and oversight of event logistics. Evaluate and summarize recruiting events to determine the yield of recruitment efforts. Generate CRS and Forum data.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with all admitted First-Year JD students and yield management. Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy including e-mail and print communication, on-campus and virtual events, and social media.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with undergraduate Pre-Law and career services advisors, undergraduate Pre-Law student groups and pipeline initiatives.
  • Coordinate with various constituencies such as current students, staff, alumni, faculty, etc. on admission/recruitment policies. Liaise with affinity-based student groups for admissions program development. Recommends and advises the department on recruitment strategies.
  • Create, write, and manage the compilation of data and monitor workflow of admissions publications and departmental website. Liaise with COL communications on the development and execution of publications and e-mail communication for prospective and admitted students.
  • Write reports, train staff, supervise, coordinate daily operations, analyze recruitment/admission activities, and supervise graduate assistants.
  • Position will require working outside of normal business hours for specialized events.
