Primary Purpose | Develop and provide leadership for the Housing and Residence Life program for students based on community development and student academic success themes. The position is responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day housing operations and leadership for student residents, community assistants, administrative assistant, and the Residence Life Coordinator; developing and maintaining the overall mission and vision; and assisting the Dean of Student Engagement in all areas of a comprehensive housing program. Additionally, this position is responsible for the coordination and leadership of the COCC summer conference program, to include day-to-day oversight and management as well as marketing and business development. |

Ergonomic Requirements | Incumbent must be able to function effectively indoors in an office environment engaged in work of primarily a sedentary nature. Requires the ability to sit or stand at workstation for extended periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms. Requires near visual acuity to write, read written materials and computer screens, and sufficient hearing and speech ability for ordinary telephonic conversations. Occasional lifting up to 25lbs. All individuals are required to be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. |
