Position Purpose | Develop, plan, and execute an outreach and engagement strategy for academic affairs to support both the career and life design needs of their curriculum, as well as those of their students and alumni. Develop, manage, and execute a campus-wide employer outreach, engagement, relations, and recruitment strategy to connect students and alumni with opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with Program Coordinators and Faculty to support career and life education and connect opportunities to their students. Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with employers and graduate/professional schools across all industries with a focus on recruitment of students and alumni from all academic programs represented at UCM. Assess and evaluate recruitment events, programs, workshops, etc to measure effectiveness and identify areas for additional improvement and bring that information to the leadership team. Collaborate with the Director of the Career & Life Design Center and the Assistant Director of Career & Life Design Education to enhance awareness of career and life skills, ensuring alignment between classroom education and workforce demands for UCM students and alumni. Supervise, hire, and train the Employer & Events Coordinator. Assist with managing the Career & Life Design Center’s budget. 5% |
