Job Description:


The University of Texas at Dallas, a member of the UT System, has an available development position within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Reporting to the senior director of corporate and foundation relations, this position is responsible for supporting corporate relations from a centralized university-wide perspective, including but not limited to activities like assisting with corporate visits, coordinating internal and external corporate engagement and communications, preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and annual reports, and managing a portfolio of small-to-midsize corporate partners.
The assistant director of corporate relations is an integral part of the corporate and foundation relations team, serving as a primary point of contact across campus for corporate relations needs and functions for internal and external constituents. The position is based within the central development team (corporate and foundation relations unit) and works collaboratively with corporate relations staff in other schools and centers across campus.

Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in related field and three plus years relevant professional experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:


The ideal candidate will:
  • possess a bachelor's degree and at least three years of development/nonprofit experience or related work experience
  • expertise in forging strong relations with external constituents and internal constituents (faculty and staff)
  • fundraising experience, particularly in securing gifts and stewardship
  • a proven ability to plan and implement programs in support of fundraising efforts
  • possess outstanding speaking, writing, and time management skills.
