Job Summary | Reporting directly to the dean of the College of Education, the Assistant Dean for Strategic Partnerships serves as the chief academic administrator for educator preparation and will have experience with Texas Education Agency accreditation and credentialing requirements for education professions. We are seeking a colleague with an entrepreneurial spirit and experience establishing strategic partnerships with school districts. This individual should have a strong record of academic leadership and commitment to academic excellence and innovative program delivery and design. Experience with program development as well as evidence of successful collaboration between university, school district, community college, and other community partners. Department Information | Home to approximately 1,300 students, 40 faculty, and 25 staff members, the College of Education prepares education professionals to lead North Texas in a dynamic and changing environment and contributes to the national dialogue surrounding education in the 21st Century.
