JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division 1A and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking candidates for the job of Assistant Coach, Women's Golf. The Assistant Coach is responsible to the Head Coach for performing or assisting with a wide variety of coaching duties in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of the teams including the following:

  • Co-ordinate and conduct recruiting campaigns from identification, to evaluation, to campus visits and follow up.
  • Organize and direct home tournament.
  • Assist in the organization and conducting of team practices.
  • Assist with all facets of team travel and office duties as assigned.
  • Assist in the ordering of team wear and equipment, as well as the day-to-day organization of team issue.
  • Potential for assisting with conducting camps and workshops.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience. Experience coaching NCAA Division 1 golf is preferred. Must adhere to university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations while supporting the core values of Intercollegiate Athletics.

This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks and the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. Due to the financial and fiduciary responsibilities of this position, successful completion of a credit history check will be required in addition to education check.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$35,600.00 - $500,000.00
