The UCSF Memory and Aging Center (MAC) is a dynamic multidisciplinary clinical and translational research program investigating neurodegenerative diseases. Our research is focused on understanding the best predictive factors and earliest causative changes in neurodegenerative disorders.
The Assistant Clinical Research coordinator will have the opportunity to delve into cutting-edge research on Aging and Cognitive Decline, as well as contribute to research projects aimed at developing new diagnostic and treatment approaches to Vascular Cognitive Impairment and Dementia (VCID), Alzheimer's disease, and other related dementias. The assistant CRC will assist in recruitment and scheduling The assistant CRC will be responsible for maintaining and building up studies examining the impact of vascular disease and inflammation on brain structure and function in healthy aging and neurodegenerative disease states.
Applicants should have a strong interest in neuroscience, solid research experience, comfort working with human subjects, and excellent organizational skills. Assistant CRC duties will include (but are not limited to) data entry and management, scheduling/recruitment of participants, CHR/IRB upkeep, and managing the day-to-day function of the project.
