The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is recruiting a faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join the Fred Hutch prostate cancer research program and an appropriate Scientific Division: Basic Research; Clinical Research; Human Biology; Public Health Sciences; or Vaccine & Infectious Disease. We seek a laboratory-based scientist to conduct innovative, independent, and collaborative basic and/or translational research focused on prostate cancer. This position will be a full-time, multi-year appointment.

We will consider PhD, MD/PhD, or MD scientists and clinician-scientists working in areas that include, but are not limited to: primary prevention, etiology, genetics/genomics, epigenetics, tumor microenvironment, metastasis, development of novel therapeutics, therapeutic resistance, biomarkers, DNA damage response, steroid receptors, immunotherapy/immunology, systems-biology, and/or computational-biology. A track record of relevant, impactful publications and funding commensurate with appointment level is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will enter a vibrant and dynamic research environment as a member of the prostate cancer program and will benefit from  the infrastructure and resources available through the Pacific Northwest Prostate Cancer SPORE, and will have opportunities to collaborate with scientists across a wide array of disciplines. Collaborative opportunities are enhanced via joint and/or affiliate appointments at the University of Washington, depending upon mutual interests. The annual base salary range for this position is from $165,000 to $393,196 for faculty hired at the Assistant Professor rank, from $185,059 to $420,547 for faculty hired at the Associate Professor rank. Pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Pay for Faculty positions is based on a variety of factors, including degree, specialty, clinical practice and experience. This position is eligible for relocation assistance and sign-on bonus.
