The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics in Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time BC/BE Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Division of Developmental Pediatrics in a non-tenure track faculty position (Assistant or Associate Professor rank) with academic rank commensurate with experience and credentials. This position offers a great opportunity for a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to participate in a wide variety of educational, clinical, research, and community outreach activities across several settings. Division physicians have primary outpatient clinical responsibilities at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital as well as clinical and teaching effort in the UTHSC Center on Developmental Disabilities, a federally-funded University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) and home to a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) interdisciplinary graduate-level training program.

Each of the missions of UTHSC and the College of Medicine is considered in planning for the priorities of the position, but the relative proportion of effort in each mission may vary according to program needs and faculty member interest and expertise.

Clinical Care : Providing direct clinical and supervisory clinical services at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital locations and the UTHSC Center on Developmental Disabilities.

Education and Training : Responsibilities include education of medical students, and pediatric residents and fellows as well as participating in interdisciplinary training opportunities for students in the LEND interdisciplinary graduate-level training program.

Service : Community outreach and advocacy efforts are encouraged and supported.

Scholarly Activity : Contributions to scholarly activity, including research, are expected, with input from the faculty member. Other academic obligations include participation in department and division teaching conferences.
