Assistant/Associate Professor, Abdominal Imaging - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, McGovern Medical School
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible diagnostic abdominal radiologist for a faculty position in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging to join a busy clinical and academic abdominal radiology service. McGovern Medical School primarily provides imaging services at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and Harris Health LBJ Hospital . We also provide coverage at several outpatient imaging centers. The section is highly integrated with the UT departments of Oncology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynecology, and Trauma.
Position Key Accountabilities:
- Providing, reading, and interpreting diagnostic services including radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, sonography, and positron emission tomography, as well as limited procedures.
- Teaching residents, fellows, and medical students in radiology.
- Participate in consultation at the reading room and tumor board.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have graduated from an ACGME-accredited Radiology residency program (or equivalent). Completion of fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging (or equivalent) is also required. Candidates must be ABR certified or ABR eligible. Must have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical License. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
