Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is a renowned location with prominent research programs and teaching. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine supports the three missions of clinical care, research, and education. Research focuses on translational areas that integrate basic and clinical science. Educational activities include training of residents and fellows and leading courses for medical students.
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is currently seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The current position is available for faculty with potential for translational research. The successful candidate will be appointed in the Department of Internal Medicine. We invite applications from scientists with Ph.D., M.D., or M.D/Ph.D. degrees who will be expected to establish an independent, extramurally funded research program in an area relevant to cardiovascular care and that complements existing activities within the division. Recruited faculty will be expected to establish an innovative, independent and collaborative research program addressing significant and fundamental questions.
