Role of the Position

The Department of Surgery, Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Nevada Las Vegas is seeking a Minimally Invasive surgeon to be an integral part of our faculty. We currently provide care for patients requiring foregut and abdominal wall reconstruction and would like to offer Bariatric services. This full time opportunity is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial team that is passionate about providing clinically excellent and compassionate care to all patients while educating and training surgery fellows and residents.

This is a Full-Time position with a varied work schedule and a rotational-shared call schedule (day, night and weekends).

This opportunity offers a highly competitive benefit package, rank, and salary commensurate with qualifications. The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree), board certified general surgeon who has completed fellowship or has training in minimally invasive surgery. Interested candidates should also have a strong interest in teaching fellows, residents and medical students. This is a non-tenure-track position.

Minimum Qualifications

MD/DO (or equivalent). Board Certified General Surgeon who has completed a fellowship or additional training in minimally invasive (including robotic) surgery.
