Description | The Assistant/Associate Director (AD) of Housing and Residential/Commuter Life serves as a key member of the leadership team in the development and implementation of the department’s mission. The AD assists the Director through ongoing departmental planning, assessment and training efforts providing vision and direction for growth. Specifically, the AD provides leadership and vision for the programmatic and operational functions of the Office of Housing and Residential/Commuter Life. UNE is Maine’s largest private university, with two beautiful coastal campuses in Maine, a one-of-a-kind study-abroad campus in Tangier, Morocco, and an array of flexible online offerings. Residential/Commuter Life
Supervision Exercised: Shared administrative and functional supervision of resident advisors and work-study students. |
Qualifications | Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree required in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, or similar academic program and at least three to five years of relevant residence life administrative experience with one or more years of live-in experience, or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
