Description
The University of New England – Dental Hygiene Program invites applications for a full-time clinical appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. We seek an experienced and dynamic individual with demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical practice. The successful candidate will engage in teaching and service. The Dental Hygiene Program is located on two campuses in Portland and Biddeford, Maine.

Responsibilities
  • Planning, developing, teaching across the undergraduate curriculum
  • Development and implementation of learning assessments
  • Participate in service activities
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or above in dental hygiene/dentistry or related field
  • Eligible for dental hygiene or dental licensure in State of Maine
  • Holds a permit or license to administer local anesthesia in Maine or be eligible for a local anesthesia permit
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum of three years clinical practice experience.
