Part-time One Employer Policy 

Any part-time employee of the university shall not have concurrent employment for any other Church- affiliated employer unless specifically excepted. The Custodian positions at Aspen Grove are available for seasonal work at a summer camp from May 16 - September 2, 2024. All staff positions work a 40-hour work week with a $10.50 hourly wage and staff live on-site in housing units. Meals are also included. 

Essential Functions: 
The custodial worker at Aspen Grove will be scheduled to clean several restrooms, sanitize frequently touched objects, and perform housekeeping duties. In addition to this, a custodial worker at Aspen Grove will provide daily care for the facilities including cleaning windows, dusting, attending to trash inside buildings, and vacuuming.

This position would also be responsible for stocking shelves with linens and cleaning products and working with the custodial manager in maintaining a cleaning supply inventory and ordering supplies. This position would assist with the large inventory of blankets, pillows, sheets, and towels that are ordered from the BYU Laundry, as well as perform after hours on-call duties.

Qualifications: 
Applicants should have a schedule with good blocks of time in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings three to four days per week. Some Saturdays and Sundays are also required.

 

Must have regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift.
