The Highlights:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Transfer Recruitment and Admission, the Articulation Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day articulation and posting of new student transfer credit, supplemental transfer credit, AP, CLEP, and IB exam credit. In addition, the Articulation Coordinator will assist the Student Systems Project Team in automating the articulation process. The responsibilities related to this position will also include the integration of transfer credit processing solutions so that they augment, streamline, and enhance the applicant experience and the work of the functional offices in Enrollment Management as well as college offices and Academic Advising.
What You'll Do:
  • Review, research, and manage the processing of admitted transfer student data including articulation and posting of student credit.
  • Working with various representatives throughout the university community to help ensure that credit is received, articulated, and posted in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Maintaining current articulation information in TES, People Soft, and data tables
  • Working with the development team in mapping data fields to appropriate set-up tables.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; experience with Transfer Evaluation System (TES) and People Soft Student Administrative Systems preferred; minimum one year (prefer 2 years) of experience in working with transfer student records and articulation procedures.
  • Must demonstrates strong planning, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently is imperative; team player with creativity, patience and perseverance.
  • Must be able to interact with administrative staff, college offices and academic advising units.
  • External-must be able to interact with educational institutions and consultants.
  • Experience in working directly with transfer student credit review and course placement is preferred.
  • Position requires Overtime during peak periods
