Position Focus:

**Must Pass YARC (Yale Animal Resources Center) Health Screening. ** This form is filed with Employee Health in a confidential file specific to employees who work at YSM Buildings. Offer is contingent upon successful passing of health screening.


Essential Duties

1. Feeds, restrains, and handles animals. Cleans animal cages and equipment. 2. Observes animals for signs of illness or stress. Reports deviation in animal conditions. 3. May prepare special foods. May maintain records and files. May assist in preparing animals for experimentation. May maintain inventory of supplies. 4. Performs additional functions incidental to animal technology activities.


Required Education and Experience

Little or no work experience and a high school level education; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
