Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesia Documentation Compliance Specialist to join our Anesthesiology Compliance team, join us!

You Are:

• Highly thorough and dependable
• Particularly focused and observant
• An excellent collaborator with strong team building skills

You Will:

• Maintain integrity and accuracy of anesthesia billing data by reviewing and adjusting in the Optime anesthesia information system.
• Instill compliance of the anesthesia records that follow all applicable department and institutional policies and procedures related to billing.
• Perform quality assessment for all electronic anesthesia records utilizing the immediate preoperative assessment template in the Epic anesthesia module system.

You Need:

• At least 2 years of health care experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and/or anesthesia preferred
• Experience with MS Office & Epic (preferred)
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure

This is a hybrid position with 2 days on-site at the main hospital campus in Manhattan. Please note, that the first 6 months will be 100% on-site for training purposes.
