Anatomy Adjunct Faculty

The Anatomy Course is designed for the Physician Assistant students. It is composed of applied concepts of gross anatomy in clinical applications. Therapeutic principles are built upon the basic concepts. The course is organized by organ system and will teach students to apply anatomy knowledge to clinical skills.

The position is in person. Labs are virtual.

Positions available at Main Campus/Miami Shores and St. Petersburg.

Essential Functions

• Create and execute course

• Instructor is responsible for content delivery and student assessment, in conjunction with existing University and Program policies.

• Instructor must direct the course and utilizing the current learning management system (Canvas), current digital anatomy lab platform, and adhere to the current sequence of subjects to maintain horizontal integration of the curriculum with other program courses fall semester.

• Works closely with the Academic Coordinators in planning class schedule, content, and student management.

Student Assessment:

• Create and execute student assessment in line with the learning outcomes for the course.

Qualifications/Requirements

A Master's degree in PA, MD, DO, ARNP is required.

Previous teaching experience is required.

Must be able to receive and interpret MS documents

Must have the ability to communicate via email.

Must have the ability to ooperate equipment in the lecture hall

Excellent oral and written communication skills as it relates to instructions and issues within the course.
