Alumni Outreach & Engagement Coordinator University of Tennessee Institute for Agriculture The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Alumni Outreach & Engagement Coordinator for the UT Institute for Agriculture. Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Annual Giving, the Alumni Outreach & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of programs, projects and events that strategically engage alumni and future alumni of the Herbert College of Agriculture and the College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as friends and donors of all units within the UT Institute of Agriculture. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Alumni Engagement: Cultivate relationships with alumni and friends of UTIA, engaging their talents and resources to promote and support the Institute, while expanding the bases of alumni support. Create and maintain programming that brings together students with alumni and friends, and to identify alumni, friends, and industry partners for networking, internships, and career opportunities. Events & Communication: Plan, manage, and execute alumni and constituent events with oversight of budgets, logistics, venues, staff (working event), and students. Coordinate sending email campaigns through online community for various alumni functions and news on a consistent basis. Assist in reunion and homecoming planning with a focus on Herbert and CVM specific activities. Collaboration: Partner with advancement teammates and institute-wide partners, including department heads and faculty, to develop engagement strategies that effectively and sustainably engage alumni and friends.

Required Education and Experience The candidate who fills the Alumni Outreach & Engagement Coordinator position is required to have: A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required due to travel responsibilities of the position. UTFI reserves the right to consider all appropriate circumstances. In general, any significant driving offense less than 12 months old will eliminate the application from consideration for the position.
