Physical Requirements
This position requires occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds and loading and/or unloading supplies and materials onto carts.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.
Job Summary
Family and Consumer Sciences Extension and The Food Connection is seeking an Extension Specialist. The primary functions of this position are to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate local food programming. This position will be expected to develop and maintain strong partners at the local, state, regional and national levels focused on food systems, in addition to the development and implementation of collaborative programming.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Proven ability to work within deadlines; strong organizational and time/project management skills; excellent oral and written communication skills. Word, PowerPoint. Driver’s License Preferred.
