Job Overview

The Advising Dean for DC / Doha Exchange and Global Experiences Program Manager manages the DC/Doha student exchange and serves as primary advisor to GU-Q undergraduate students studying in DC.

They also coordinate the planning for DC/Doha exchanges for the SFS to increase engagement opportunities for students across campuses.

Work Interactions

The Advising Dean for DC / Doha Exchange and Global Experiences Program Manager reports to the SFS Vice Dean of Undergraduate Affairs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree – preference for a Master’s degree
  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in academic advising, student affairs, and/or international education or a closely related combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with student information systems and applications
  • Ability to engage with a variety of constituents from a wide range of diverse populations
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred qualification

Experience in academic advising and/or international education
