Admissions Office Coordinator

Job Description: 

The Admissions Office Coordinator is responsible for coordinating admissions office functions assigned to the Admissions department and providing a broad range of organizational and administrative support.  This position works closely with the Director of Admissions in establishing work priorities and workflow for the office. 

  • Maintains Admissions new student spreadsheet information.
  • Enters applications/student packets and inquiries into CMS/Seibel BANNER.
  • Completes weekly inquiry report and systems milestone report.
  • Generates lead spreadsheet broken down by representative weekly and by term.
  • Supports New Student Orientation, makes up sign-in sheets and assembles the materials needed for orientation.
  • Completes real-time inventory of Admission supplies to include: enrollment packets, applications, program packets and brochures.
  • Supports entire new student enrollment process.
  • Manages front desk operations and other admissions administrative assistants.
  • Collects and verifies admissions timesheets.
  • Creates weekly admissions schedule.
  • Manages and hires work-study students.
  • Takes Minutes for Admissions Meetings or other scheduled meetings.
  • Assists with new student entrance, testing, student events, and other special projects as needed.
  • Maintains admissions calendar and communicate events and deadlines.
  • Assists with project work, as necessary.
  • Backup to SEVIS, International Student Enrollment Process.
  • All other duties assigned as necessary by the Director of Admissions.

 Requirements

  • Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Publisher
  • Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and problem solve
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to successfully perform multi-task operations – attention to detail

Salary:

$40,000 - $43,000 ($19.23 - $20.67 per hour)

This position is eligible for overtime.

The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
