Position Summary | The Admissions Counselor for the School of Professional Studies (SPS) is responsible for presenting educational options through communications, presentations, and events aimed at promoting and showcasing SPS programs features and benefits for prospective military, veteran and civilian students. Position directly solicits interest and responds to inquiries about the respective SPS programs up to and including acceptance into the program. The Admissions Counselor reports to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions. This position is eligible for remote work after 6 months of successful in-person employment. |

Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities |

Required Education | Bachelors Degree. |
Required Work Experience | One (1) year of work experience in admissions counseling or a related field, such as sales, marketing or recruiting, communications, public relations, or primary/secondary education teaching. Note that additional education will be considered in lieu of experience. |
Preferred Qualifications |
|
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations | Must have a valid driver license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW. |
Work Hours | Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed, to include some evening and weekend work, to meet departmental goals. |
