Visits schools to promote programs at the university, and participates in recruiting events and functions on campus, as assigned

Essential Job Functions

  • Prepares for admissions presentations and demonstrations to deliver to high school students and/or community or junior college students
  • Develops and executes a strategy to administer student recruitment activities (e.g. school visits, college fairs, classroom presentations, information meetings, etc.) within multiple territories in collaboration with admissions representatives and territory managers
  • Travels to locations within an assigned territory to deliver admissions presentations and to meet with prospective students and inform them of the application process, financial aid options and admission requirements
  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective students, parents, educators and school counselors to share information about the university and to encourage and facilitate enrollment
  • Participates in various recruiting activities, such as telemarketing, uses social media marketing platforms, attendance at conferences, college fairs, and admissions events both internal and external to assist in the recruitment of new students
  • Maintains records of recruitment efforts per department guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent formal training program
  • Experience working in admissions, sales, marketing or other related experience
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to provide culinary or pastry demonstrations in regional high school classrooms


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in culinary or baking & pastry arts
  • Familiar with the designated territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia)
