Posting Summary | Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director of administration, UVM Cancer Center (UVMCC) leadership, and staff. This includes, but is not limited to, data collection, operationalizing processes related to the diverse needs of the UVMCC, external organizations, boards, funders, or leadership. Serve as primary point of contact for web updates for all functional areas of work at the UVMCC, employing creativity and technical expertise. Plans and provides administrative and technical support for multiple programmatic meetings and activities. Serves as a backup point of contact for communications and events staff in other areas of event planning and execution for conferences and seminars. Assists leadership with annual reporting for complex, multi-author projects and reports. Maintains membership database information and operationalizes membership renewal processes. Provides expertise and technical assistance with communications and member database. Provides additional administrative support in areas of business administration and performs other general administrative duties. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Associates degree and one to three years of related office experience required. Proficiency with software applications used to support office functions, and familiarity with internet resources required. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. |
Desirable Qualifications | Prior experience in an academic/research environment preferred. Proficiency working with software applications used to support area operations including but not limited to PeopleSoft, Database management (Slate experience preferred), website editing, and Microsoft applications is desirable. |
