Job Summary
This position performs all departmental purchasing, travel, and expense reimbursement functions to include assignment of cost centers and general ledger account codes that align with department budgetary assignments.
The successful candidate will have experience with accounts payable/receivable roles, and a high aptitude for learning new systems and developing strong processes. This role has significant interaction with faculty, residents, and advanced practice providers as well as financial entities both in and outside of the department.
Exemplary communication skills and professionalism are necessary in this role. This position also provides high level administrative support to the department management and to multiple senior level faculty division chiefs. The successful applicant will be a critical thinker with excellent time management skills.
Department of Anesthesiology administrative, education, and research staff may be eligible for hybrid remote work schedules, following training/orientation.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Technological knowledge, Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Power Point, Word, Publisher, and Outlook. Office/clerical skills.

Experience and proficiency with technology preferred.
