Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) Operations Manager, incumbent is responsible for the day to day office management of the Parking Services department, including space maintenance & utilization, telephone systems, purchasing supplies, equipment and services, monitoring of budget and expenses, inventories, and safety. Manages administrative office and supervises front desk staff which includes immediate supervision (hiring, evaluating, etc.) Incumbent provides administrative support, including calendar management, filing, travel, clerical support as needed. Incumbent will track data for on-going and ad hoc projects and develop spreadsheets/charts as required. Responsible for the on-going development and maintenance of the departmental web sites and gives support to ETC (Employee Transportation Coordinator).

Salary Range: 

 

Annual Rate  Minimum  $66,700.00               Midpoint      $92,600.00               Maximum              $118,500.00

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Skill in organizing and managing work and setting priorities in order to complete work in a timely manner and meet deadlines.

Attention to details with the ability to troubleshoot and pursue problems to satisfactory resolution

Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional

Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Access

Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner

Minimum three years prior administrative/clerical office experience

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

SCAQMD Certification
