Position Summary:
 
The Division of Finance and Administration (DFA) provides services and support to over 50,000 students, faculty, and staff with the mission of advancing UCI’s brilliant future and the vision of becoming world-class campus partners. Design & Construction Services role is to support the University’s strategic plan through the design and construction of new and renovated facilities. Working, and under the direction of the Administrative Services Officer and the Associate Director of D&CS, will contribute to all areas of administrative support including; construction document control, Calendaring for construction staff and PMs as needed, travel reimbursement, travel reimbursement, requests for reimbursements, travel advances and travel expense vouchers, front desk back up, purchase request processing, pal card use, parking permits to D&CS for visitors, data entry and report generation with existing data, incoming mail, payroll and time reporting functions, including timesheets, bi-weekly time reporting, and monthly leave reporting. May create tables or spreadsheets with existing data.

$28.61 - $29.96 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $26.14 - $37.46 (Hourly Rate)

Required:
 
Skills to use computers utilizing Word, Access and various data base systems to format, enter, edit and print out technical documents and routine materials Skills to prioritize workload, redistribute to assistants and other staff Written and oral communication skills sufficient to perform all tasks Ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff and regulatory agency personnel Knowledge of alphabetical and subject matter filing systems.
 
Preferred:
 
Knowledge of University Policies and Procedures Knowledge of campus departments and their activities, locations, and administrative structure.
