Administrative Program Coordinator, EPID
Epidemiology
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Administrative Program Coordinator supports the department chair by coordinating and organizing departmental activities and travel arrangements. This position assists with grant and publication preparation for the department chair and faculty. This position supports the department chair and faculty by facilitating and implementing the ongoing research programs. 
The Administrative Program Coordinator assists with coordinating PhD student and post- doctoral research fellow recruiting and hiring, as well as, provide administrative support, which includes, but not limited to scheduling and coordinating the study steering committee meetings and the advisory committee meetings, coordinating conference calls between Tulane and national/international sites, coordinating investigators and students' interviews and traveling management, and processing invoices for payment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proficient data entry and keyboarding skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel
• Strong communication, management, and analysis skills to enhance operations productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and organize activities.
• Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work successfully and independently under budgetary and deadline requirements
• Ability to work as part of a professional team and to collaborate effectively with individuals within the University as well as with outside contractors.
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
OR
• High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of related experience
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 23.
