Job Summary/Basic Function: |
Reports to the Dean, Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Research:
- Handling incoming calls with professionalism, answering, providing information, and directing calls to the appropriate person;
- Schedules meetings and takes notes/minutes in meetings;
- Researching, gathering, and analyzing data from various sources to support departmental initiatives and decision-making;
- Performing accurate data entry and managing electronic records to ensure efficient department operations;
- Plans events and assists with set-up and break-down
- Maintains departmental budget, arranges travel, and reconciles department Pro Cards;
- Maintains files;
- Procuring office supplies to ensure the availability of necessary materials for departmental functions;
- Contributing to the maintenance and updating of the department website, ensuring accurate and current content;

Minimum Qualifications: |
The minimum qualifications of this position are:.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
- Possess excellent organizational skills;
- Two years’ experience in performing office duties and working with the public;
- Knowledge and skills associated with databases;
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing diverse tasks, including the willingness to take on other duties as assigned.
- Team player;
- Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration;
