Job Summary/Basic Function:
Reports to the Dean, Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Research:
  • Handling incoming calls with professionalism, answering, providing information, and directing calls to the appropriate person;
  • Schedules meetings and takes notes/minutes in meetings;
  • Researching, gathering, and analyzing data from various sources to support departmental initiatives and decision-making;
  • Performing accurate data entry and managing electronic records to ensure efficient department operations;
  • Plans events and assists with set-up and break-down
  • Maintains departmental budget, arranges travel, and reconciles department Pro Cards;
  • Maintains files;
  • Procuring office supplies to ensure the availability of necessary materials for departmental functions;
  • Contributing to the maintenance and updating of the department website, ensuring accurate and current content;

Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications of this position are:.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
  • Possess excellent organizational skills;
  • Two years’ experience in performing office duties and working with the public;
  • Knowledge and skills associated with databases;
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing diverse tasks, including the willingness to take on other duties as assigned.

  • Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration;
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college;
