Position Information
The Center for Instructional Technology and Online Learning invites resumes for a full-time, contractual position with limited benefits.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the front office and support other members of the department to include but not limited to greeting visitors, answering telephones, organizing files, and operating office equipment.
  • Create charts and electronic documents.
  • Manage email and learning management systems (LMS) applications.
  • Complete financial transactions for the department.
  • Assist with online and digital Help Desk Tickets, workshops, tools and technology research, and instructor certification and course review.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years’ experience providing administrative support
  • Experience in a customer-service-oriented environment
  • Experience with office management software systems.
  • Experience with report writing and calendar scheduling.
  • Experience with Help Desk and LMS basic support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Experience working with students.
  • Related industry certifications are a plus.
  • Working experience with digital education a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be Customer Service oriented.
  • Skilled in document and report preparation.
  • Skilled in maintaining the front office and supporting other members of a department.
  • Ability to organize daily operations and financial transactions of the office.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a team environment
  • Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff in an ethnically diverse environment.
  • Knowledge of financial programs and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to learn basic LMS operations and Help Desk protocols.
