The department serves over 1000 graduate and undergraduate students annually and has a reputation for excellent teaching with a diverse student body. The department supports state-of-the-art research and teaching laboratories in applied physiology, muscle biology, musculoskeletal injury, biomechanics and ergonomics, sport business and physical education pedagogy. In addition, many faculty are influential members of their respective national and international organizations.
The Department of Kinesiology and Health is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to manage the front desk. This position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Track office supplies.
- Update Department contact list.
- Receive and distribute packages and mail delivery.
- Process travel authorizations/expense statements.
- Maintain departmental syllabus files.
- Update departmental display boards.
- Coordinate and oversee office facility requests.
- Assist other administrative staff with special tasks.
- Maintain calendar for departmental conference room and classroom.
- Oversee small department events).
- Oversee completion of faculty request (scantrons, copies).
Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s degree; or a high school diploma or GED and four years administrative experience; or a combination of education and experience.
