Position Description:

The Institute for Health and Equity, Division of Community Health, and the Kern National Network are seeking to hire a motivated, collaborative, innovative evaluator at the level of Adjunct Professor and Director of Evaluation and Assessment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of an evaluation plan and the supporting measurement tools and data collection system(s) to measure the reach, influence and impact of the network, the IFW, KNN programming, and funded partner projects as outlined in the Phase II proposal.
    • Work with program leaders to identify target metrics and benchmarks for KNN Program Office programming and initiatives
    • Consult with funded partners to support project evaluation and assessment needs
  • Work closely with KNN leadership and communications to provide both qualitative and quantitative data to support the following:
    • preparation of progress reports to the Kern Family Foundation
    • development of philanthropic case statements and grant proposals
    • KNN presentations and other communications, as needed
  • Explore hiring graduate students to support work (data analysis, etc.)

Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree in education, evaluation, educational psychology, organizational development or a closely related field and experience in teaching and service consistent with the mission of the Kern National Network and the Institute for Health & Equity. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate leadership and excellent communication skills and to demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) has approximately 1,600 full-time and part-time faculty. The Medical College offers medical, master’s, doctorates, master of public health and master of art degrees. The Medical College works with national and international medical specialty societies and community hospitals to accredit approximately 200 continuing medical education activities annually for physicians and other health professionals.
