Start date of this position:  August 26, 2024

 

Required Degree: BA or BFA in acting, directing, or voice performance.  The required degree must be completed by the start date.

 

Preferred Degree: MFA in Acting, Directing, or related field; or PhD in Theatre.

 

Experience:  1+ years university teaching experience preferred. We also are interested in reviewing applications from candidates who have accomplished notable teaching outside of university settings.

 

Duties/Expectations: Successful candidates will teach acting and voice courses in the Acting (BFA) and Music Dance Theatre (BFA) programs. The two BFA programs are dynamic, supportive, and creative units within the Theatre & Media Arts department at BYU.

 

Must reside in the State of Utah to be eligible for employment consideration.  Must be willing to teach the course(s) in person, on campus.
