Job Title:  Adjunct Faculty Linguistics, ELING 415 (Business of Editing)

Job Classification:  Adjunct Faculty Teaching.  Day or evening classes as assigned by department, BYU Provo Campus

Start date of this position:  Sept. 2, 2024

Required Degree: BS or BA in Linguistics or related field

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Masters in Linguistics or related field preferred.

Experience:   Teaching experience preferred.  Knowledge of the subject area, presumably from experience in free-lance editing, required.  Need to know about negotiations, contracts, and other areas needed for running a free-lance business.  

Duties/Expectations: Teach ELING 415, Business of Editing.  Class can be offered in the day or evening.  Department has syllabi instructor can use or adapt.
