The USF MS in Digital Health Informatics (formally known as the MS Health Informatics) is a rigorous program at the intersection of technology, biomedical science, analytics, and clinical practice. Students come to this program from a broad range of backgrounds to gain a knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving digital healthcare landscape and deep understanding of healthcare data. They will also gain the skills to conceptualize and develop digital health informatics solutions including data capture, processing, storage, and distribution.
The selected candidate will join a diverse faculty of leading healthcare educators in the School of Nursing and Health Professions, covering nursing, public health, clinical psychology, epidemiology, health data analytics and health informatics. Although the primary purpose of this position is focused on teaching introductory graduate biostatistics, opportunities for leading research projects with students are available. Additional teaching opportunities may be available for qualified candidates in future semesters.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate in biomedical informatics, statistics, computer science, public health, medicine, nursing, psychology, or related field. Candidates must give evidence of knowledge and ability to teach biostatistics. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience.
