Job Summary:


The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking adjunct faculty for the Department of English for the Fall 2023 semester. We encourage people qualified to teach face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online courses in Developmental English and/or First Year Writing to contact us, with preference going to candidates who can also teach Creative Writing, Sophomore Literature, and/or Technical Writing as needed. An MA in English or a closely related field is required, and a PhD or MFA is preferred. Essential Duties:


The ability to teach courses in Developmental English and/or First-Year Writing and/or other courses as assigned, with preference going to candidates who can also teach Creative Writing, Sophomore Literature, and/or Technical Writing as needed.

Required Qualifications:


A minimum of 18 hours of relevant graduate-level coursework in English or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:


We would prefer applicants with a PhD or an MA in English or a closely related field.
