The Opportunity

This position is responsible for auditing miscellaneous reimbursement requests and travel reimbursement requests for adherence to University Policy; enforcing regulations according to the University, State, and Federal policies and procedures; creating guest traveler personnel numbers; and for distributing mail, directing phone calls, and miscellaneous other office duties.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Auditing Domestic and International Expense Reports
  • Final audit of miscellaneous reimbursement requests
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate Travel Policy
  • Ability to enforce Travel and Travel Card Policy
  • Serve as backup for answering phones and check delivery and pickup. Assist with and provide input to policy updates and

 



Qualifications

 

Required Education & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma and one years of office work, including experience with Word, Excel Keyboarding, phone etiquette, accuracy, and editing. Also experience in ERP system.  Good customer service skills. Skills in word processing, math, proofreading, and telephone etiquette required. Good written and verbal comprehension skills. Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate University policies and procedures. Ability to perform multiple tasks, with frequent interruptions. Good skills in prioritizing assignments to complete work timely with workload changes and pressures to meet deadlines. Ability to influence and build relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels. Ability for strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will possess experience in travel expense reporting, an Associate's Degree, knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of travel industry. Strong understanding of University business processes.
