Position Summary:


Provide complex financial management, grants & contracts and general administrative support to the College of Pharmacy including the Dean's Office and two departments. Provide technical and complex accounting support to departments under the auspice of the College of Pharmacy Dean.
This position monitor accounts, develops budgets, prepares reports and coordinates financial compliance in the College. Review, monitor, and maintain cost centers for the Deans office, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy Practice and Science for complex budgets for grants and contract development. Includes daily monitoring of transactions, verifying accuracy and appropriateness. Responsible for reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. This includes ensuring compliance with all UNMC, and University of Nebraska fiscal policies and procedures.
Analyze budget activity to make statistical projections and communicate variances to appropriate personnel. Create, prepare, and disseminate specialized reports as needed. Accurately and timely update and maintain monthly budget overviews for active ledger accounts. Provide support to Business Operations Manager, Dean, department chairs and all faculty and staff regarding compliance, policies and procedures.
Prepare new grant proposals during both the pre-award and post-award stages of grant and contract process. Assist the Dean and finance committee with annual budget

Salary Range: $66,100 - $99,200/annual
