ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM TECHNICIAN II - (T215054)

Description

 

University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Police and Public Safety Department seeks an Access Control Technician II to oversee the overall physical security, locking devices, alarm and monitoring systems for all UAB buildings. Design, install, test, service and perform preventative maintenance on all alarm systems, card access systems, Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV), lock hardware and compliance level of electrical codes. Design, install and maintain keying and security systems as needed. To maintain knowledge of current security devices and department related computer technology.

 

Starting Hourly Rate: $20.80

 

Qualifications

 

Associate's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required.
