The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a full-time Assistant Professor. The appointee will be responsible for inpatient clinical care at our Hyde Park campus and outpatient care in the reproductive endocrinology and infertility ambulatory clinics. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. The appointee will be a member of the Obstetrics and Gynecology call groups. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. 
We especially welcome applicants with training and experience in Gynecology (office gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, or family planning/ complex contraception), Obstetrics (vaginal delivery of twins, higher order cesarean sections, and operative vaginal deliveries), and resident or medical student teaching.
